PASS
Patient Access Secure System
Patient Access Secure System was developed to address new security issues,
health care portability concerns and health care providers far reaching legal
obligations. PASS eliminates the need to fill out a new patient medical history
and medications form when seeing a new medical practice, or in a medical
emergency situation.
At the patient's request, PASS will furnish the attending physician with
up-to-date medical history as well as current medications and dosages. It is an
economical and simple method of storing medical information such as living wills
or power of attorney forms online. The vital information can be accessed and
updated by e-mail, fax or phone. The patient or patient authorized
representative using their own user name and password is in control of this
private information.
An enrollee will be given a PASS card. Information on the card will inform the
enrollee as to how to use the program, and his/her internet application, user
name and password. They will also find the following needed information;
- How to start a file.
- Download miscellaneous "fill in forms".
- Upload history and prescription information forms.
- Edit a file.
|
- Enable a specific person/medical facility to download histories and
prescription information.
- Phone number for access to the pertinent information via a human
facilitator.
- Fax phone number used to upload history and prescription information
forms without internet connectivity.

PASS - Enterprise
Patient Access Secure System
The Patient Access Secure System Enterprise edition shares the same features as
the single PASS product. The primary difference rests with the fact that the
enterprise edition is geared toward large organizations with a need to use
specific detailed forms.
